Florence and the Machine is a British pop artist with one word to describe her music INTENSE.  She writes about love, pain, happiness, and anything else she feels will touch the minds and hearts of her supporters.  Florence was recently nominated for Video of the Year for her hit “Dog Days are Over” at the 2010 VMAs and although she didn’t win she definitely had my vote!
